Zinn is a graduate of New York University School of Law, where he served as a Senior Editor of the Journal of Law and Liberty, received a Dean’s Scholarship, and worked closely as a research assistant for Professor Richard Epstein. His legal work has focused on constitutional law, individual liberty, property and contract rights, free speech, religious liberty, and limits on administrative power.

Before joining UMLC, Zinn gained legal experience as a summer associate at Allen Overy Shearman Sterling and as an intern with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Task Force. He is scheduled to clerk for the Honorable Harris L. Hartz on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit during the 2027-2028 term.
Zinn earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in psychology, magna cum laude, from New York University’s College of Arts and Sciences.
