Event: A Culture of Noncompliance on the University of Minnesota Campus

The Upper Midwest Law Center (UMLC) is pleased to announce an upcoming event at the University of Minnesota focusing on a recent federal civil rights complaint concerning antisemitism on campus and the Gender Women and Sexuality Studies program’s public support for Hamas and condemnation of Israel. The event, A Culture of Noncompliance on the UMN Campus: A Conversation with Prof. Richard Painter, former Regent Michael Hsu and Rep. Marion Rarick, will feature James Dickey, Senior Counsel at UMLC, serving as the interviewer. UMLC is co-hosting the event with the student group Students for a Conservative Voice, which publishes the newspaper The Minnesota Republic.

Time: 7 – 9 PM

Location: The University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus, McNamara Alumni Center; Ski U Mah Room

 

Speakers:  Professor Richard Painter, former UMN regent Michael Hsu, and now Rep. Marion Rarick as well will be the speakers at the event, providing insights into antisemitism on campus and the recent civil rights complaint, out-of-control tuition increases, excessive administrator pay and bureaucratic bloat, and campus area crime. James Dickey will MC.
