On October 13, 2021, UMLC argued in the Minnesota Court of Appeals that Governor Walz’ emergency powers and mask mandate were unconstitutional. UMLC files brief defending victory in case against Minneapolis police defunding
Last Friday, Upper Midwest Law Center filed a response brief in the Minnesota Court of Appeals in Spann v. Minneapolis City Council. In the brief, UMLC supports the Court Order which stops the defunding of the Minneapolis police.
